65daysofstatic, the Sheffield-based post-rock band, are performing a very special concert at Manchester Cathedral later this month. It has been 10 years since the release of their critically acclaimed debut, The Fall of Math, and to celebrate this, the band will play the album in its entirety. A full-length second set will feature songs from the rest of their extensive back catalogue, including their most recent album, Wild Light. 65daysofstatic are known for guitar-driven instrumentals with both live and sampled drums. The result is a mix of rock, electronica and dance. Support comes from Ex-Easter Island Head, an avant-garde musical collective from Liverpool. NB. 65daysofstatic are not to be confused with the Australian teen sensations 5 Seconds of Summer.
