Carefully Planned is a group that organises concerts throughout Manchester – and since 2011, they have hosted their own music festival in the Northern Quarter. This year’s event featuring 125 music acts, from many different genres, playing at seven of the best NQ venues (see below for details). Standout acts include Jo Rose, Gymnast, Glass Ankle, Jane Weaver, Laura J Martin, Nat Johnson, Post War Glamour Girls, That Fucking Tank, Her name is Calla and Tomorrow We Sail. To whet your appetite, there will also be an opening party at Soup Kitchen the night before it kicks off. Like the festival itself, this promises live music galore from an eclectic bunch of bands.
