This September, the folks from the First Chop Brewing Arm are hosting Abandon, an end of summer celebration. The party will take place at their HQ, which is under a railway arch off Trinity Way in Salford. The party begins at 5pm with an evening of acoustic music featuring Setting Suns, Shauna Mackin and Troubadour’s Grave taking place in the venue’s ‘secret garden’. Later, the volume gets turned up, with bands including Devil in My Bones and Hot Vestry playing in the brewery itself. Headlining the party will be Black Sonic Revolver, an indie band who released their debut album this summer. From 11pm onwards the after-party kicks in, with DJs spinning indie, new wave, and psychedelia. Food will be available throughout evening.
