Take Me to the Bridgewater’ is an audio art installation and adventure along Worsley’s Bridgewater Canal that has been uniquely tailored to each participant. The tour has been created by BAFTA-nominated performance collective, Blast Theory and is based on the real life experiences and future dreams of young people from the area. The tour starts at Worsley Village Library, before setting off along the canal towpath. Journey through the minds of local people’s stories along the way with each experience created according to the direction you walk and how far you roam. The full walk lasts approximately 45 minutes. There are timed departures every quarter of an hour, from late morning until mid-afternoon. Registration is required.
