Cult Irish folkster Damien Rice is famous for his debut album O, with several tracks appearing on the soundtrack to 2004’s Closer. He’s also known for appealing to fans of the likes of James Blunt. But Rice has more to give than those other guys. Records like O and its follow up, 9, stand up to continuous listening, spilling melody and bare-truth lyrics until your battery runs out.
