The Snarky Puppy pianist, Cory Henry, is set to showcase his gospel-inspired Revival Project in the ornate climes of Salford’s St Philip’s Church. Wielding his favoured Hammond B-3 organ, Henry’s show is a modern jazz twist on age-old melodic themes, encouraging singalongs, audience interaction and a communal warmth across a diverse selection of remodelled numbers. Spanning Coltane, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and ‘If You’re Happy and You Know It’, his exceptional musical talent is unquestionable, but it’s his ability to effortlessly charm a crowd that makes his performances stand out.
