Alternative rap innovator Doc Brown is to mark his latest album, Stemma, with a headlining show at Band on the Wall. Crammed with sideswipes at the genre’s mainstream, Doc Brown’s lyrics reflect his eloquence practised across a broad church of creative pursuit, from performing stand-up comedy to acting for the big screen and TV. In music, his path has seen tours with Mark Ronson’s star-studded band and a solo discography MCing over both full live bands and sampled tracks from Gary Jules to Kasabian.
