Brighton’s Fear of Men return on tour intent to ‘make stages shake’, and have selected Manchester’s Aatma to spread their seismic soundwaves. The venue formerly known as Kraak can look forward to the dulcet guitar-led tones of their sophomore LP, Fall Forever, whose atmospheric taster single, ‘Island‘, hit YouTube on 28 March. Much like their debut, Loom, it’s treading the fertile shoegazing ground between hummable melodies and discordant interludes, glued together by singer Jessica Weiss’s introspective lyrics. There’s still a couple of months to wait for the album, so this is a chance to lose yourself in the new songs before they arrive on record.
