Cross-cultural experimental folk trio Yorkston Thorne Khan are to tread the stage at Manchester’s Band on the Wall to perform songs from their new album, Neuk Wight Delhi All-Stars. The band has blossomed since an impromptu collaboration on the day of a chance backstage introduction at a festival in 2013, developing that natural musical chemistry into a collection of songs now spanning two albums. They combine classical sarangi, acoustic guitar and stand up bass, with live shows known to segue into unique improvisational tangents, beguiling audiences across the land.
