Lo and behold, there’s another bank holiday on the horizon, and what better way to spend it than at Manchester’s favourite dysfunctional discotheque, HomoElectric? Sandwiched in the middle of the long weekend, the six-hour foray at Hidden will serve up the usual flurry of hedonistic house, chugging techno, and dastardly disco – with a set from very special guest Prosumer thrown in for extra measures. If you don’t know this guy already, then really, you need to snap up a ticket right this second. The one-time Panorama Bar resident comes equipped with an enviable musical knowledge, with a mean selection that effortlessly glides from funked up and jacktastic to spaced out and exotic. Support comes from Manchester stalwart Will Tramp!, with Lucy Locket and Jamie Bull guiding your sweaty Saturday night into a sofa-bound Sunday upstairs.
