Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon makes her way to Manchester next March to talk about her much anticipated memoir Girl in a Band, which chronicles her life and career in the pioneering and prolific New York-based band. As one of the most inspiring figures in modern rock and roll, Kim Gordon has become a fashion icon and more recently a renowned visual artist, and the book covers all of this and more. The event sees Kim in conversation with Manchester’s own Dave Haslam, followed by an audience Q&A and book signing. Tickets are available either online or direct from the venue.
