Piccadilly Records’ taste of 2015 is set to bring her hazy alt-pop ballads to Manchester early in 2016. Described by the Northern Quarter record shop as a ‘shimmering, leftfield pop classic’, Have You In My Wilderness has set hearts and minds aflutter on Oldham Street and beyond. Holter’s fourth LP, released via the highly dependably indie label Domino, hones her idiosyncratic vocal delivery among a range of instrumentation from piano to saxophone, effortlessly grabbing and holding your attention in a way that will surely translate well to the Gorilla stage. Tickets are sure to fly out given her recent accolade, so act quickly on this one.
