Deaf Institute is rocking the end of Freshers’ Week with eight alternative acts cherry-picked for a jam-packed all-dayer. Flying the Manchester flag will be psych rockers Ethan & The Reformation, riff monsters Shaking Chains, alt-shoegazers Kyotayo and jangly indie by WU LYF offshoot, Francis Lung. Leeds’ Cowtown cross the Pennies for a headlining slot, while Chester innuendo experts Peaness, Glasgow’s Catholic Action and Pink Kink from Liverpool are descend on Manchester for showcase of the hottest new talent. Whether you’d prefer to take your pick and buckle in or drift through the venue, you can also spend the night supping free beers courtesy of entrepreneurial Manchester brewers, Shindigger.
