It’s Halloween, so why not book tickets for one of the most frightening plays to appear in the North West for time? Produced by Oldham Coliseum and adapted from the novel by Susan Hill, author of The Woman in Black, this tense and atmospheric play is an otherworldly mystery which seems set to spook out the most hardened horror fan. Harking back to legends of old, and including threats from beyond the grave, The Mist in the Mirror is a gothic fireside story, which, if the Woman in Black is anything to go by, is likely to become a must book for spook fans. Between now and then, there is Halloween and the Babadook – it’s best to have your frights pencilled in, isn’t it?. Visual effects have been created for the show by award-winning company imitating the dog.
