Denver husband-and-wife duo Tennis will hold court at Gullivers next week as they showcase songs from their new Small Sound EP, released in February. Lacing elegant pop hooks with intricate vocal harmonies, the EP sees a shake up in sound for Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, adding an extra dimension to their usual breezy pop, with the help of producers Richard Swift (Foxygen, The Shins) and Jim Eno (Spoon, Polica). And if the hype surrounding Small Sound is any indication of their third full-length album, due later this year, this might be your opportunity to see them before they get big.
