Psychedelic stadium rockers The War On Drugs have announced a second Manchester show for another chance to catch them on a huge autumn tour. The sextet’s woozy new single, Thinking of a Place, dropped via Atlantic Records in time for Record Store Day as limited edition vinyl and placed their direction somewhere between great American songwriters like Dylan and Springsteen, with irresistible melodies on tap for 11 minutes. The back-to-back Manchester shows are their first on English soil as part of a tour that spans over two months, all sure to be popular – with a new album to look forward to nearer the time.
