The Three Wine Men – Olly Smith, Oz Clarke and Tim Atkin – will be returning to Manchester in July to offer another weekend of boozy enlightenment after a sell-out success at the Museum of Science and Industry last November. The three acclaimed wine critics and famous foodies promise to aid you in the exploration of wines from across the globe, plus the discovery of unusual and delicious food parings in order to eliminate the snobbery of the wine scene and encourage fun and excitement for experts and enthusiasts alike. The Summer Tasting will take place over three sessions on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 July, this time held in the grand surroundings of the Town Hall (pictured). Book now to participate in masterclasses including cheese and wine matching with Tim Atkin, ‘Elegant Australians’ with Olly Smith and a presentation on iconic Italian proseccos Chianti Classico and Prosecco Superiore. November tickets sold out fast – and this year’s change of venue promises another unparalleled success for the Three Wine Men. We’ve got two pairs of tickets to a session of your choice to give away. To be in with a chance of winning a pair, simply email the answer to the question below – plus your name, age and Twitter handle – with the subject line ‘Three Wine Men competition‘ to competitions at manchesterwire dot co dot uk.
