As if the premiere of sprawling new single Wanderlust wasn’t enough, art-poppers Wild Beasts have now announced a new live show at Manchester’s recently restored Albert Hall. Three years after their elegant third album, Smother, the show falls in support of their upcoming album, Present Tense, set for release on 24 February – and if this first glimpse is anything to go by, it’ll be well worth the wait. Combining glistening melodies, synths and Hayden Thorpe’s inimitable vocals, Wanderlust sees the band return to a more frenetic sound which, complete with an equally brilliant video directed by Barcelona’s NYSU films (watch it below), will add even more to Wild Beasts’ already irresistible live show.
