Awakening, a one-of-kind event is coming to Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Trafford Park this March. A major expo on the theme of UFOs and conscious life, government conspiracy theories will meet the philosophies of spirituality and higher enlightenment. A variety of guest speakers will be discussing topics such as life after death, Stonehenge, and crop circles. For additional cost, visitors can attend keynote talks by two doyens in the field. Erich von Däniken, is the author of the famous book ‘Chariots of the Gods?’, which proposed that early humans were visited by extra-terrestrials. Proving that Ufology isn’t just a boys’ club, the other keynote speaker is the documentarian and journalist Linda Moulton Howe. Visitors can also enjoy a series of exhibits, and shop for merch and organic foods. There will also be workshops on subjects such as meditation, nutrition, and Reiki. The expo bar will, naturally, look like a non-copyright infringing Mos Eisley Cantina.
