Philips Park in Clayton, Manchester, dates back to 1846 and is one of the city’s largest parks. There are a number of features to enjoy in this recreational space such as historic houses and tree lined walks – and there are some intriguing (and rather terrifying) residents in the park this summer too. A new attraction, called Jurassic Kingdom, aimed at dinosaur fans of all ages is comprised of an army of life-sized animatronic dinosaurs such as triceratops and T-Rex. The attraction runs until Sunday 23 July. Book your tickets via the link below – if you are brave enough.

Until Sun 23 Jul, Philips Park, Stuart Street, Manchester, M11 4DJ, from £9.50 (child), www.jurassickingdom.uk
