The beloved kids’ TV series Knightmare has taken a sidestep to the left and become a comedic stage show. Each performance sees a member of the audience don the iconic ‘Helmet of Justice’ and be guided through a treacherous dungeon, this time by a group of comedians. Knightmare Live is the result of a KickStarter campaign which saw the brand be resurrected for the Edinburgh Fringe. After success at the festival, it became a hugely popular touring show. It was performed at the Lowry earlier this year to a sell-out crowd. Only a few tickets remain for this ‘Level 2’ performance, so act fast. Late twenty-somethings and early thirty-somethings will no doubt find it a nostalgic treat.
