Ten years is a pretty important anniversary, right? To mark its own, Liverpool-based promoter Freeze has teamed up with DHP to invite Norwegian disco deity Todd Terje for the second time this year, following a superb night in Liverpool’s Bombed Out Church earlier this summer. With a repertoire of hosting parties at breath-taking venues, its varied locations have also included Liverpool’s English Heritage site Williamson Tunnels – and this September, Terje will be performing within the awe-inspiring gothic surroundings of Manchester Cathedral. Terje teased us with a long line of EPs, remixes and edits – and his aptly-titled debut It’s Album Time only supported the argument that he is modern-day electronic disco, wrapped up in a male human form, complete with a mean moustache.
