Manchester’s Makers Markets serve up fine foods, vintage finds, beautiful adornments for your home and much more in Manchester’s suburbs and city centre on a rotating basis. One week it’s Didsbury, another the Lowry outlet. And this weekend sees two markets taking place – the Spinningfields two day spectacular (read our preview) and the monthly Chorlton market. Given that Chorlton is famous for great delis and craft beers, the Chorlton Makers Market offers the chance to discover (and chat to) even more of the region’s finest cheese, pie and bread makers. Browse more than 70 stalls and be inspired by arts and crafts. There’s a huge range to explore, from goods for the garden to bespoke clothing and ceramics. The Market is located just across from The Beagle pub in the grounds of Oswald School, Chorlton Library and the Co-Op. Deck chairs and DJ sets paint a chilled scene on Barlow Moor Road.
