Electrik in Chorlton has launched its new menu, inspired by the success of sister venue Volta. The Wilbraham Road bar retains its fish finger butties and ever-popular Sunday roast sharing boards – but now includes a wide range of options such as jerk chicken with street salad (£6), beef bourginon and mash (£8.50), and teriyakki salmon fillet with pak choi (pictured, £8). Burgers keep their place on the menu, meanwhile, with a lamb and cumin burger and Dexter beer-fed beef burger (both £7.50) among the likely favourites. With the addition of Saturday breakfast, lunch and brunch options including Moroccan spicy baked eggs (£6), it’s a wide-spread overhaul of the menu, led by group chef Alex Shaw and new Head Chef for Electrik Phil Cook.
