Manchester based club night and label Project 13 celebrates its sixth birthday with a headline set from Mica Levi aka Micachu, fresh from scoring the soundtrack to Chilean director Pablo Larrain’s Jackie Kennedy Natalie Portman-starring biopic, Jackie (nominated for Best Original Score at the 2017 Academy Awards). She’s also featured on the new single from Mount Kimbie, Marilyn. Dancehall collective and production crew Equiknoxx (pictured) released their debut album Bird Sound Power on Demdike Stare’s DDS label, and on this night will feature live vocals from Shanique Marie. South African gqom pioneer DJ Lag flies in to share that particular bass heavy sound. Completing this mighty line-up will be Acre, Conor Thomas and Manchester heroes Swing Ting going back to back with Equiknoxx.
