A 12-week celebration of street food, craft beer and the best in Mancunian DJing talent is taking over Upper Campfield Market every Friday (from Fri 7 Mar). Organisers B.Eat Street MCR have rounded up food purveyors like Lucha Libre, Solita, Diamond Dogs, Piggie Smalls and Yang Sing while DJ talent includes Jonny Dub from Hoya:Hoya, Will Tramp!, WHP’s Krysko and Gold Teeth DJs. There will be cocktails and a special collaboration with Cave Direct to bring a mix of European and American craft beers to stock the bar. We like the look of this bold move for the city centre, but it’s one of those where it rides on how many people turn up on the day. The venue can hold around 400; we reckon just after work will be the time to go.

Weekly from Fri 7 Mar, Upper Campfield Market, 5.30pm-11.30pm, free entry, full line ups here: www.beatstreetmcr.co.uk
