Watching a cult classic at home with a beer is all well and good but the feeling of viewing one of your favourite films surrounded by a group of like minded peers with cocktails and movie specific foodstuffs can’t really be topped. The Blue Pig will be showing bi-weekly flicks on a Tuesday night kicking off with Scorsese mob masterpiece Goodfellas. Head into the bar/screening room for FREE and grab some cocktails and small plates inspired by the exploits of the New York gangs that make up this timeless classic. Future films earmarked for a showing at the ‘Pig-turehouse’ are Pulp Fiction, Fight Club and A Clockwork Orange (we’re excited for the milk based concoctions the Kubrick-Burgess picture will inspire).

Tue 21 Mar (then bi-weekly on Tue), The Blue Pig, 69 High Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester, M4 1FS. Tel: 0161 832 0630 8pm, FREE www.thebluepigmcr.co.uk
