Over the next 52 weeks Joshua Brooks is hosting an exciting new pop-up cinema in their award-winning cellar space on Princess Street. The Sunday evening film club, entitled Cultivate, will be projecting a different movie each week, with the programming sat firmly in the worlds of cult filmmaking and underground classics. This week (21 Oct) sees a B-movie double bill featuring The Bronx Warriors (pictured, 1990) and Street Trash (1987), while next week (28 Oct) sees 1980s indie gore flick Zombie Apocalypse light up the subterranean arches of JBs. With popcorn on hand, plus the bar’s eclectic range of craft beers and real ale, Cultivate seems to have all the elements of a great film club, and one that is absolutely free at that.
