At Tandem Coffee House, located in Stockport’s old town, they like things in pairs. That these pairings also have alliterative capabilities is perhaps the icing on the cake, the pairings in question being “bikes and bakes”. A new coffee shop delivering grind-on demand coffee, Tandem Coffee House seeks to bring together bike enthusiasts with coffee lovers. Think Bradley Wiggins with a very snazzy looking Cappuccino. Remaining faithful to local goods, Coffee Circle’s Barnraiser is the blend of choice here, with top Levenshulme baker buddies Trove also making an appearance, supplying Tandem Coffee House with artisan breads and a variety of baked goods, the patisserie section of particular interest to the glutton. With opening hours very much a trial and error exercise at the moment (apologies), Tandem Coffee House seeks to bring together enthusiasts from both sides of the spectrum, with great produce thrown in for good measure.
