House is the cornerstone of dance music – and few do it better than Defected Records who will be hitting Manchester for their first event of 2015 at The Albert Hall. For their huge Easter party, they’re bringing two pioneers of the dance music scene, Kenny Dope & Little Louie Vega aka Masters at Work, whose mark upon House music is immeasurable. Since forming in the early 1990s, Masters at Work have redefined dance music, remixing everyone from Bjork to St Etienne and now is your chance to experience that sound in the iconic Albert Hall. Alongside M.A.W. is no less than Berlin’s king of house, Oliver Dollar (2014’s ‘Pushing On’ with Jimi Jules was an international smash – you know this man!), Simon Dunmore, the man behind the Defected and their world-famous Defected in the House nights will be playing alongside Defected’s Sonny Fodera, who’s known for his straight up dancefloor sounds.

Sat 4 Apr, Albert Hall, 22 Peter Street, Manchester M2 5QR. 9pm – 4am, £28.50, www.seetickets.com
