The Blue Pig in the heart of the Northern Quarter has a deli-tastic new menu with a crispy buttermilk chicken salad, burgers, rib eye steaks, sweet deli boards, lamb koftas and a heavyweight selection for the vegetarian diner. With a boho Parisian bistro theme and lashings of quirky and vintage ornaments to catch the eye (not forgetting the namesake pig itself on the sign outside), this is a one-stop-shop for afterwork drinking, dining or supper with friends. And a go-to for romantic suppers on the hoof. Highlights of the new menu include a New York deli burger, everything made in house, the 8oz Cheshire rib-eye special and an expanded range of deli boards. From lamb koftas to bourbon beans to honey glazed pork belly, grilled halloumi, beet and bean koftas (there’s a new beet and bean burger too) pickles and loads of other lovely stuff, there is something to please all palates. The Manchester Wire team are particularly fond of the house wine and cocktails too.
