Almost entirely sampled from vinyl records, Endtroducing was released 20 years ago. It served as a pioneering record from DJ Shadow that melded together hip hop, funk, ambient, psychedelic and funk to create an album that has a timeless quality. Since then, his collaborations have resulted in the hip hop collection Quannum Projects and UNKLE, where DJ Shadow released Psyence Fiction to critical acclaim. His newest offering, The Mountain Will Fall, features an array of artists including Run The Jewels and Nils Frahm, and he’ll be delivering it to keen ears at the stripped-back Old Granada Studios – so you can fully immerse yourself in the performance without distractions. Support is from Bondax, Lapalux and Now Wave DJs.
