See and feel the future at Manchester Metropolitan University this month, as the School of Art’s postgraduate students put on their final MA Show. Work is divided into four departments – art, design, media and landscape architecture – and visitors can expect a no-holds-barred immersion in the talent that will be shaping the creative industries’ future. Explore work from students studying specialist programmes such as fine art, photography, jewellery, graphic design, textiles, glass, filmmaking and animation. All in all there will be more than 100 exhibitors, including Mu-Jung Chuang’s chalk outline photography, Emma Crabtree’s innovative product design schematics, Lucia Lorenzo Periscal fashion graphics and inspiring landscape design briefs. The final show is exhibited across a vast canvas comprised of three of the institute’s galleries including the Benzie building, Holden Gallery and Link Gallery. The vast majority of students have created online profiles here – and you can see the work at the private view on Thursday 29 September or during the week-long showcase.
