Food news: Levenshulme’s Trove bakery expands & opens evenings

After a recent refurb and extension, Levenshulme’s hugely popular Trove Bakery has extended its opening hours until 10pm, Thursdays to Sundays. The cafe has developed a reputation as a foodie destination – and not just for its exceptional sourdough, freshly roasted Heart and Graft coffee and homemade chutneys. The new menu includes sea salt 83% hot chocolate, buckwheat dumplings with beetroot and horseradish puree, dill and whey, smashed avocados, home-made granola, a homemade jam and gin cocktail, and black pudding baked eggs with smoked potatoes and sauerkraut.
