Local DJs and restaurant owners, Luke Cowdrey and Justin Crawford, often play out under the moniker The Unabombers. These days, however, they are more likely to be found propping up the bar at one of their successful local venues like West Didsbury’s Volta or Electrik bar in Chorlton. The Palace Hotel’s Refuge by Volta is their third venture and ahead of the launch this September, they’re hosting a free, two-day street party. The event runs from noon until 10pm each day, and includes sets from friends and greats like Ruf Dug, Krysko, Will Tramp, Now Wave, Gina Breeze and many more. The party is accessible from Whitworth Street and will be hosted by queer performance collective, Cha Cha Boudoir.
