Eastern Bloc solidifies its reputation as one of the most exciting record shops in the country with a hectic programme of free events this weekend including EUBV-76, High Hoops and Traffic

Thu 2 Feb: The UBV-76 label take over the shop: dark and deep techno from Bristol collective Ruffhouse plus halfbeat drum and bass, jungle and more from fellow Bristolian Clarity. Djinn, Antagonist and Bane round out the evening. Catch the headliners at Threads (at the newly christened Versions, fka downstairs at Joshua Brooks) from 11pm.
Free, 5pm-10pm

Fri 3 Feb: Club night High Hoops (in the form of Tom Houghton and Black Eyes) visit the shop to preview their evening at Band On The Wall later on, where house legends Mood II Swing will be on selection with Joy Social.
Free, 6pm-11pm

Sat 4 Feb: Traffic is a North West based arts collective who’ll be bringing the store alive with visuals (courtesy of Idiotbox) to accompany some hard techno from Commonplace with Traffic residents.
Free, 6pm – 11pm
