Introducing to the Chorlton neighbourhood, new cafe-bar, Henry C. Serving coffee, cocktails and craft beer, the food menu looks equally as tasty. Expect New Orleans Po’ Boys such as peppered Cheshire brisket with soy aioli, American mustard and gherkin as well as brunch dishes along the lines of crushed avocado with chilli, spring onion, coriander and fried egg on sourdough. After years of working in Manchester bars – in particular the Trof group, the couple behind this new venture were inspired by cool and cute cocktail bars and cafés in various corners around the world – so expect a funky hybrid of the best bars you’ve been to abroad. The official launch parties takes place on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 November from 6pm with free food and booze promised. Open from midday, seven days a week.
