Z-arts’ opens its Autumn Season with two spectacular live performance and art events brought together by Word of Warning, STUN and Black Gold Arts Festival. Emergency, returning for the seventeenth time, is a micro-marathon of the bizarre and the beautiful featuring 29 performances over 11 hours. As an exciting platform for live art and  contemporary performance, Emergency is an exploration of the sensory and the subversive, the emotional and the eccentric and promises to be a non-stop journey into the quirkiest and most magical corners of performance art.

Divergency is an evening of eight emerging works by a group of artists as eclectic as their subject matter: quantum mechanics, homelessness, food and sex brought together in a series of tabletop performances, installations and sit-down shows. The performance is a idiosyncratic look into eight new works in different stages of development, from first sketches to ready-to-go shows, featuring Maya Chowdhry, Afreena Islam, and Yvonne Shelton.
