Greater Manchester’s finest makers, bakers, movers and shakers make up the stalls of the Makers Market which returns for a monthly hoedown in the Northern Quarter’s Stevenson Square this weekend. Everyone’s favourite market promises 95 artisan-led stalls serving everything from bullets of vegan, raw and organic energy from Balls Kitchen to the handcrafted jewellery and accessories of Hoochie Mama. There’s a designated street food arena to help you shake off that hangover with Bad Boy Burgers from What’s Your Beef or Mediterranean mezzes courtesy of The Ottomen. Plus Manchester’s favourite wheat-based DJ, Pasta Paul, will be on hand to keep the good vibes going with weather-appropriate tuneage. With 6 hours to explore the delights on offer, such as arts and crafts from Raggie Annes and doorstop-sized brownies from Treats Bake Shop, you’re unlikely to leave empty handed.
