As one pop-up cafe closes, another opens, with Idle Hands launching on Piccadilly Station Approach this Saturday (18 Apr). Taking over the space recently vacated following Hunt & Darton’s month-long residency, the new venture sits next to the recently opened Piccadilly Tap, and will initially open for a six-month period. Open from 7am on weekdays, Idle Hands will offer commuters single-origin filter coffee and espresso-based drinks, brewed by Dave Wolinski and Tom Cowcher, both formerly of North Tea Power. And to coincide with Record Store Day, for its launch on Saturday, Idle Hands will be offering discounted prices to those clutching newly purchased records.

Opens Sat 18 Apr, Idle Hands, 8A Gateway House, Station Approach, Piccadilly, M21 2GH, Mon – Fri 7am – 7pm, Sat 10am – 6pm, Sun 10am – 4pm, www.idlehandscoffee.com, @idlehandscoffee
