Two years since they sold out The Deaf Institute, Boxed In return with new album Melt. Shrugging off the difficult second album syndrome that has felled many a hyped new act, Oli Bayston and co have come back with a bigger record than their lauded self titled 2015 album that got the likes of Clash, NME and BBC 6Music so excited. Lauren Laverne recently had the band back in session and its highly likely this return to Deaf will culminate in another sell out cementing Boxed In’s place as key component of the UK music scene.
