The Beach Boys frontman sets sail once again to travel around the world in 70 dates, all in celebration of the seminal 1966 LP, Pet Sounds. What more can be said about the multiple award-winning Californian that hasn’t already been written? Last year, Wilson’s legacy was further enhanced by his portrayal on the silver screen in Love & Mercy, and an 11th solo album, No Pier Pressure. Surely his Wikipedia page is running out of space for more accolades? The UK leg of his musical marathon lists 11 shows – and Manchester-based fans will be delighted to hear that includes an all-seated concert at the Apollo.
