Kosmonaut on Tariff Street has launched its new drinks menu this week. The spring/summer menu features reworked classics, revived recipes and bespoke combinations such as The Yokohama Flip (pictured), made with whisky, chocolate, plum and salt, plus Georgina’s Julep, incorporating bourbon, peach, mint and spices, and Crying at The Piscotech, featuring a mix of Pisco, marmalade, lime and apricot. Five biodynamic wines have been added to the Northern Quarter hangout’s list, including the Ottavia Rube Dolcetto, plus extra rosés and sparkling wines – including Gusbourne, a sparkling wine produced in the UK – to mark the change of season. Further additions include Doorly’s Rum from Barbados, the Japanese Nikka Whisky and Evan Williams Kentucky Bourbon. The team behind the 2013 CityLife Bar of the Year winner recently revealed details of a new opening, PLY, due this summer on Stevenson Square.
