Fri 3 Feb: Club C.I.T.S @ Texture
Three forward thinking and unique artists soaked in electronic culture make up the first bi-monthly club night from this new crew, Castles In The Sky. Bonaventure (Berlin Community Radio, NON Worldwide) and Coucou Chloe (pictured, half of Y1640 with the soundtrack-loving Sega Bodega, plus has released on Berlin label Creamcake ) push your bleepy buttons with resident Hess in support (and it’s her birthday!). All profits from the night will be spent on workshops and further projects aimed at highlighting diversity in the music industry.
Tickets: £7 on door / adv: paypal to castlesintheskymcr[at]gmail.com

Sat 4 Feb: Keep It Unreal Without Mr Scruff @ Band On The Wall
Mr Scruff has gone and broken his leg! To prevent an embarrassing evening of falling over when trying to change records or any accusations of dad dancing, he’s enlisted last month’s guest Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy (veteran of David Mancuso’s loft parties in the nineties) to return alongside Daddy Ad of the heavy, heavy Trojan Sound System. Kwasi keeps the unity flowing on the mic as ever, and of course tea and biscuits will be served in the Picturehouse. Get well soon, Scruff!
Tickets: £12 bandonthewall.org

Sun 5 Feb: Groovanometry @ The Deaf Institute
The third annual get together for all of y’all that love hip hop culture. This is an ALL AGES jam which runs from 2pm-9pm, with breaking, popping and spinning on display as squads of world-class dancers compete over the day. Soak up the energy and be part of a welcoming community.
Tickets: £10 on the door

Fri 10 Feb: The Flipside with E Da Boss (Stones Throw) @ Fallow Cafe

E Da Boss is well known as a connoisseur of fine soul music, and joining him will be Mind On Fire / Reform Radio vinyl addict Lowell Wallbank.

Sat 11 Feb: Wax @ Soup Kitchen
