Fri 11 Nov – Neko Neko @ Eastern Bloc (pictured)
E Bloc’s instores are becoming a regular feature of Manchester’s nightlife, and this Friday they help to launch Neko Neko’s Between Two Cities Pt. 2 album. Alongside a live performance from Neko Neko, highlights on the lineup include badman deejay/producer Danny Drive Thru and Etrea of Endless City. Things kick off at 6 and run until 11, with no entry fee – a perfect appetiser for the weekend’s raving.

Fri 11 Nov – Grant Nelson @ Stage & Radio
Serious stuff from one of the city centre’s newest venues as they welcome garage legend Grant Nelson to their 100-capacity space. The guy’s impact on the UK scene can’t be understated, with his work on Nice’n’Ripe in the 90s shaping the sound for years to come, before he embraced/enhanced the 2 step sound as Bump & Flex. This seems to have gone under the radar a little, but once word gets out there’ll be a lot of people getting very excited about this, move quickly on the tickets to guarantee entry!

Sat 12 Nov – Calibre @ Band On The Wall
BOTW’s reputation for top DnB events is unrivalled, and this Saturday will do nothing to tarnish it, as they launch MC DRS’ new venture Summit. Headlining proceedings is the mighty Calibre, Signature Records bossman and all-round drum and bass hero. Bane, of Eastern Bloc fame rounds a lineup worthy of the mighty Band soundsystem.
