Irish whiskey tasting at Font
The Font’s Chorlton branch is kicking off the year’s proceedings early this year, hosting an evening of Irish whiskey tasting. In honour of St. Patrick’s Day, whiskey experts will be on hand to dish out four samples and some accompanying knowledge. Slainte.

Irish food on St. Patrick’s Day at Didsbury’s Rustik
Didsbury bar Rustik will be celebrating on Friday by offering up full Irish breakfasts, and bubble + squeak benedict with smoked bacon. Plus, Granny Tessie’s Irish stew with colcannon dumplings and homemade soda bread will be served until late. There are drinks deals on cocktails, whiskey and baby Guinness, and there will be live Irish music from 6pm.

Leading performance group Quarantine are offering customers a free lunch in exchange for a 30 minute chat.
