A great way to warm your soul on a Sunday in November, there are 300 varieties on offer as well as talks and seminars from the experts. Other attractions include festive food and cheese pairings, whiskey cocktails and live music. There are two sessions available.

Artisan’s FREE Christmas Marketfest with live musics, gifts and mixology
Spinningfields bar and restaurant Artisan return with their monthly market event, this time with a festive special. With live music all day, there will be more than 20 stalls and pop-ups on offer, plus 30% off food at Artisan when booked in advance via this link: www.artisan.uk.com. Peroni will be running beer mixology classes at the venue and there will also be pasta making classes, with a gift for pasta makers to take away. New Jamaican street food: Yard Food Shop at Spinningfields Leftbank
Yard Food Shop is arriving in Manchester in style – next Monday and Tuesday they’re offering customers £2 taster meals over lunchtime to celebrate. Expect jerk chicken, curry goat, ackee and saltfish, served with patties and Jamaican dumplings.

Free this Saturday: GRUB Food Fair at Alphabet Brewing Co.
The weekly food fair has got another cracking line-up of street food for this weekend. Regular’s Yakumama will be bringing the Latin American spirit to proceedings and are joined by comfort food sellers Oh/Mei/Dumpling, Canadian fare from The Gravy Train Poutine, mezze from The Ottö-Men and French patisserie purveyors ChouChoux. Held at Alphabet Brewing Company, the venue is festooned with local artist Nick Hamilton’s amazing work and they serve beer and cider straight from the source. After they stuck one finger in the air and realised that it’s now definitely freezing, GRUB are on the case with blankets and heat-generating strategies, plus the whole get-up is under cover. The bar accepts card payments now, but take cash for the food stalls.
