Manchester Spins vinyl launch event

New independent recording project, Manchester Spins, launches this weekend – and what better time to do so than Record Store Day. A non-profit making, promotional project from Yvonne G. Rybka Erksine, Manchester Spins will be joining in the day’s festivities with its exclusive first release: a limited edition EP featuring local folk blues group, Ash Mountain. To celebrate the launch, Ash Mountain and Josh Lisuik will be performing tracks from the EP live at the event throughout the day, complete with vinyl sets from Peter Jay and phonography residents. And to continue the musical feast, Manchester-based vinyl sleeve designer, Trevor Johnson, will also be showcasing some of his iconic artwork – including his Manchester Spins #1 design – with limited edition prints available to buy.
