There’s not long to go now until the city is taken over by a wealth of international and local talent for the bi-annual Manchester International Festival and tickets are running low. We have a pretty comprehensive list of what is still on sale (check it out here) but this week, new tickets for previously sold out shows were unleashed. One of the first events to sell out was New Order’s team up with artist Liam Gillick. More tickets are also on sale for ‘explosion of movement’, 10,000 Gestures, Yael Bartana’s What If Women Ruled The World?, comedy from Tim Key and Mark Watson and the Oscar winning Johann Jóhannsson’s (pictured) Last and First Men. If you just want to dance then tickets have also been released for the MIF closing party with Mancunian clubbing legends Friends & Family. Act fast though to grab the seats that have been released as they will fly out once more.
