The cabaret and variety show Mother’s Ruin returns to The Roadhouse later this month. The high-camp night is known for featuring a wide array of acts, from underground performance artists to end-of-the-pier entertainers. Bearded hostess Timberlina (pictured) will introduce you to all the special guests, who include Thick Richard, a provocative punk poet who has appeared at Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Fringe. Music, meanwhile, will come from drag artist Violet Blonde, Wirral-based keyboard rockers Organ Freeman, ukulele-strumming songstress Charlotte Victoria Furness and Weimar-inspired accordionist Patrick Carroll-Fogg. There will also be DJ sets from The Niallist and CVNT TRAXXX. Mother’s Ruin is supported by the Cake Tin Foundation, a charity which supports LGBT artists and performers.
